“The VMA is tomorrow and I’m anxious,” Bebe said in the video. “I want to start by saying that I am so grateful and blessed to be invited to these awards and to be able to do what I love.”

“I know criticism comes with fame, so I’m okay with that. I mean, sometimes it gets to me. I’m human.”

The singer admitted that, although she’s known for being a body-positive artist promoting self-love, she “isn’t feeling that confident” at the moment.

“I’m so anxious and stressed about walking the red carpet and, I guess, people talking about my weight. I’m not truly loving myself right now. I’m not really feeling like the badass I usually am.”

Even though the singer confirmed she already has an outfit for the awards and would love to celebrate her nomination, as well as her friends, her anxiety is getting the best of her.

She concluded her video by asking fans to leave some motivational tips in the comments. It didn’t take long for her fans to flood her comment section with supportive messages.
