A motorcycle chase that took place in the city of Osasco, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, has gone viral on social media. The case occurred in October 2021, but gained popularity in recent days after the footage was reposted on TikTok and Twitter.

What happened:
The chase, which lasted about 20 minutes, was recorded by a camera attached to a motorcycle from the Municipal Ostensive Round. One of the recent posts already has more than 8 million views;
According to the Osasco City Hall, the motorcycle rider and passenger were performing risky maneuvers, such as doing wheelies and driving at high speeds;
At that moment, the Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) ordered the rider to stop, but the order was not obeyed. Then a chase began, which started in Osasco and ended in Carapicuíba;
The agents were able to capture the rider and passenger, and no illegal items were found on them;
“After the approach, the motorcycle was seized according to article 174 of the Brazilian Traffic Code for promoting exhibition and demonstration of expertise in maneuvering a vehicle without permission (from the competent agency),” concluded the City Hall.
