Actor, writer, and director Darren Kent, known for his role in “Game Of Thrones“, has passed away at the age of 36.

Kent, who portrayed a grieving father named Goatherd in “Game Of Thrones”, has been hailed as “one of the kindest people” and a “talented and caring soul” by colleagues in their heartfelt tributes.

The star also captivated fans with his spectacular performance in “EastEnders” and the TV mini-series “Les Misérables”, as well as in the film “Dungeons And Dragons: Honour Among Thieves”.

Kent’s passing was announced by his agent, Carey Dodd Associates, who posted on Facebook: “It is with deep sadness that we have to inform you that our dear friend and client Darren Kent passed away peacefully on Friday. His parents and best friend were by his side. Our thoughts and love are with his family during this difficult time.”

Industry friends paid tribute to the actor, including writer and director Jane Gull. She posted on Twitter, saying: “What a privilege it was to be your friend and to work together on so many projects over the years. Life won’t be the same without you. I will miss you dearly. Rest in peace, dear Darren Kent.”
