The Izhevsk Mechanical Plant (AO IMZ), part of the Kalashnikov Group, has announced the launch of a limited series of 23 MP-512S-11 air rifles, developed with a visual design inspired by the classic Dragunov SVD.

The main highlight of the model is its exclusive stock, made from high-quality walnut using advanced manufacturing equipment. This process allows the external appearance of the famous sniper rifle to be reproduced with high accuracy. Parts of the stock that simulate the SVD’s receiver and magazine are finished in black to imitate metal components, while the sections representing the grip and support are varnished, highlighting the natural texture of the premium wood.

To further enhance the visual similarity to the original weapon, the MP-512S-11 is supplied with an optical sight and a carrying sling—features that bring the product even closer to the design of the legendary military rifle.

According to the manufacturer, all units in the limited series underwent individual testing and offer improved shooting accuracy compared to the standard lineup. The rifle uses 4.5 mm lead pellets, has an overall length of 1,080 mm, and weighs 2.7 kg.

The MP-512S-11 is produced with a muzzle energy of up to 3 joules, placing it in a category accessible to a broader audience while remaining focused on recreational and sporting use. The release combines visual appeal, premium finishing, and technical features aimed at accuracy, reinforcing IMZ’s tradition in the airgun segment.
