The fighter was a passenger in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 in Minnesota, USA on Sunday morning.
She was riding in a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, reportedly driven by her 35-year-old coach Joseph Trottier from West Fargo, when it collided with a 2017 Jeep Cherokee on the Red River bridge around 11:30 am Sunday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol, via Valley News Live.

Lipp was the only occupant of the two vehicles without a seatbelt, and Trottier and the other three involved people escaped the horrific accident unscathed, the accident report added.
The accident is still under investigation.
Trottier shared a series of images of the pair working together while paying tribute to Lipp on his Instagram profile following her tragic death.
