Model and skateboarder Brooklinn Khoury, 22, has shown the results of her reconstructive surgeries after losing her upper lip and part of her nose during a pitbull dog attack.

In a video released on her YouTube channel, Khoury shares that she is happy and grateful to be recovering.
“Many people tell me not to post my face now because of how it looks, but I won’t hide the process. If someone is watching this video and going through the same thing, they’ll be able to express themselves and not feel alone. So, I’m going to share. If you feel uncomfortable, you don’t have to watch,” she says.
According to the model, she underwent an incision on her neck where a nerve from her arm was connected and placed in the tissue in place of her upper lip. So far, Brooklinn said that the skin and tissue have not been rejected by her body.
Now, the young woman emphasized that she will still undergo more surgeries and that patience is the most important thing at the moment.
