South Africans took to social media to share videos of massive waves lifting parked vehicles in Gordon’s Bay, Stilbaai, Mossel Bay, and Three Anchor Bay, in Cape Town.
“No injuries reported. We urge the public to exercise caution along the coast and in inland rivers, lakes, and dams during stormy conditions and strong winds,” stated Cape Traffic And Safety And Security.
Members of the public in Gordon’s Bay, in the Western Cape, were advised to be cautious during strong wind conditions.
