Losing a family member can be one of the most difficult moments in life. When a TikTok user’s grandmother passed away, she left behind a sweet cat named Felix.
The granddaughter promised to take care of the little cat when the time came, and now Felix has a new home.

The video begins by showing Felix’s journey to his new home. The feline lived with his owner in Cavaillon, in the south of France, but was transported to Paris with his new owners, the granddaughter and her husband, in a trip of over 700 km.

“He had never traveled before. We let him explore our room first because he was a bit scared,” explained the woman in the video’s caption, showing the cat’s first moments in his new home.
Shared at the end of April, the heartwarming clip has already received nearly 2 million views, along with over 360,000 likes and thousands of comments from internet users who were touched by Felix’s story.
“Thank you for taking care of him,” said one TikTok user. “The way he freely slept… He trusted you and the new home. Despite the journey, he feels your love,” said another. “Your grandmother was very lucky to have you,” commented a third internet user.
