Brownies have a much stronger and more pronounced cocoa flavor than traditional chocolate cakes.

The texture of the brownie is also quite different! While the best cakes are fluffy and very light, we consider good brownies to have a crispier surface and a very moist interior.

Easy Nutella Brownie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 180 g of chopped semi-sweet chocolate
  • 140 g of Nutella
  • 180 g of salted butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 and ½ cups of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 and ½ cups of all-purpose flour
  • Butter for greasing

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC (392ºF) and grease a 25cm x 40cm (10in x 16in) baking pan with a little butter and a little flour.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate in a double boiler.
  3. Beat the eggs in a mixer until they are very clear, and gradually add the sugar until the mixture is very firm.
  4. Mix the melted chocolate with the vanilla and the egg and sugar mixture.
  5. Slowly add the all-purpose flour and mix without beating too much.
  6. Divide the batter into two equal portions and spread the first half in the baking pan.
  7. Cover the batter in the baking pan with Nutella, and then cover with the other half of the batter.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes and let it cool.

To serve

Cut into squares and serve with ice cream (optional).
